Next generation Kia Forte sedan image rendering

Thanks to a slew of new models including the Soul facelift, Sportage and Sorento crossover, Kia has already broken its overal yearly U.S.-market sales record in 2011.

There are more new models in the pipeline at this point headed for production in 2012 and 2013. Next year (exact date still not available) will mark the official unveiling of the new 2013 Kia Forte 4-door sedan.

Fellows over at Kia blog have recently published an image rendering of a 2013 Kia Forte 4-door sedan, which gives us a sneak peak preview of the future compact sedan from the second largest South Korean carmaker.

The all-new Kia Forte 2013 will use the same powertrain as the hot-selling Elantra sedan from its parent Hyundai Motor Company. The car will also share a platform and many other parts, however, it will differ from its family counterpart by exterior and interior design.

The 4-door Kia Forte sedan will feature a sporty look with dynamic body lines. It will resemble other Kia models thanks to its family look which will include the H-shaped signature grille and LED headlamps.

There are currently no details about the upcoming Kia vehicle, so make sure to come back to our Kia Forte blog. We will provide more details about it later.

New Kia Forte comes in 2013!

After only a couple of years on the market, Kia is going to completely redesign its successful C-segment vehicle. The all-new Forte sedan is expected to go on sale already next year.

Scheduled to debut in 2013, the all-new Kia Forte will share its core powertrain technology with Kia's European cee'd hatchback, which is also expected to receive a major update for the 2012 Model Year.

As you could have seen on some spy shots earlier this month, new Kia Forte features completely redesigned exterior, which resembles of the 2012 Kia Rio that has just been launched in the States. In Europe the all-new Rio is also available as a 3-door hatchback.

Little is known about the all-new 2013 Forte sedan, however it is expected that the range will also include a 5-door Forte hatchback and a two-door Forte Koup.
